We've been visiting the area for years and are now finding the POSTED areas on the beach. Can someone advise where the private area is located relative to the high water mark? And is there a Code or Ordinance that further describes the "line in the sand"? We want to remain within proper area.

Deeded ownership of the sandy beach varies from parcel to parcel. However, use of that sandy beach has been been said to be for the public in historical terms.
You can argue with the security guards and likely spoil your day at the beach, but win a little something in your stance, or, you can move onto uncontested soil.
