Hi, Im vacationing with my family in Watercolor. Any activity recommendations?
Hi, My family and I are coming to Watercolor for the Labor Day weekend. Can anyone recommend any not to miss activities we should do. Such as boatrides sightseeing watersports? Any suggestions will be very helpful. Thank you

Most of the activities around here are centered around FOOD and/or drink. With a really awesome sunset thrown in for good measure. Most of the "occupy an entire day with nonstop fun" activities would be located about 25 miles to the east or west.

Make sure you make good use of the bikes that most likely come with your rental. Watercolor has lots of great trails and beautiful nature. My new favorite thing there is the frog pool, whatever the real name is. Maybe Kurt has a picture of it.

May I suggest kayaking on Western Lake?

Also a fun activity for families is surf lessons. There is a great surf school called Ride On they also do kayak rentals. You can get more information from their website www.rideonsurf.com. Have a great vacation.

Definitely go kayaking or canoeing. It's free (just tip the staff) and you can paddle all the way through Grayton Park to the ocean (energy and water level dependent).

If there are any young kids, try the pirate cruise in Panama city Beach. We took the grandkids 3 weeks ago and it was a grayt time, kids and adults both.
