Visiting in June - where to stay?

I will be staying in the area in June for 1 week. My husband & I always go to Sandestin but want to venture out of the gates for this vacation with many family members. Our biggest decision is where to stay. We would like a community pool (what about the "12,000 square foot" one mentioned time & again on VRBO?) and close beach access. We took everyone to Sandestin last year and were disappointed at the group's lack of interest in the shuttle so would like to avoid that again. Another dilemma is that we always bring our dog with us & there aren't many pet friendly options. I would appreciate any & all ideas/input. Thanks.

Any where in SoWal is grayt..... Since you want to bring your pet, I would look for places that allow dogs first. They tend to fill up fast.

I personally like ocenafront or south of 30A, but have no need for a pool. Check the rental listing at the top of this page first, then try VRBO. This site has good offerings.

High Pointe has a 6,000 sq ft pool. Great for families. Next door to Rosemary Beach, across from Seacrest village, just down the street from Alys Beach..................... and I know a certain Otter what has a couple of units there

Just to give you another option ...

We are not pet-friendly but we have the 12,000 square foot pool (Seacrest Beach North). And this is our view:

Good luck with your search!

Boy LBH you are fast! (And organized! )

I am excited because the interiors will soon look very different! We're moving in a bunch of new furniture this weekend and doing some more updates over spring break in March. Mermaid & Allifunn have been giving me ideas.

Happy to help! I remembered the name, "It had to be View" from last year when we almost booked it for spring break - so I searched for it on VRBO. (My memory is kind of scary sometimes - I don't know how exactly I am able to recall such details.)

Let us know when you have new pictures!

Re: Visiting in June - where to stay?

Have you tried "Grove by the Sea." It is about a mile past Seaside. We've stayed there and absolutely loved it. If you Google it, you'll be led to some listings, and I think some allow dogs. Good luck.
