No More Snappers This Season
Yesterday was the last day of the shortest Red Snapper season ever, with more and bigger fish around than anyone can ever remember.
As you can see from the pics we've been catching lots of other species, even though the main target has been snappers. I'm sure the boards will soon be full of Kings, Triggers and Groupers as I change gears and aim at other targets.

Tour Seaside With Local Expert Mark Schnell

There are tourists and then there are tourists - no matter where you travel. In Firenze or Milano, the shoes are usually a dead giveaway. The natives are wearing soft leather loafers. The Americans are often decidedly less stylish.
In Seaside, the tell-tale signs are often times even more revealing. Anyone in a bathing suit and flip flops is here to have fun.
US 98 Sports Golf Camp at WaterSound - Photos

About 20 kids participated recently at the first golf camp by US 98 Sports at Watersound's Origins golf course.
Each day of the week-long camp began with yoga asana practice led by Milla Hopkins of The Studio and physical fitness instruction by Paul Hunter of Grayton Beach Fitness.

Mem Shannon Will Funk Up Seaside Wednesday Night

He used to drive a cab. Now he drives the blues and funk.
It’s true, Mem Shannon worked as a Bourbon Street cab driver for fifteen years before finding success as a musician.
Once Shannon’s talents finally did receive notice, a whirlwind of fame ensued . ABC World News, CBS Sunday Morning, CNN, E! Entertainment Television, The New York Times and NPR all featured reports on Shannon’s 1996 debut release, “A Cab Driver’s Blues”. Since then, Shannon has performed at the New Orleans Jazz and Heritage festival, the Montreal Jazz Fest and the Kansas City Jazz and Blues Fest.
