Seeing Red Wine Festival 2015 Photos

About this gallery

It was all grins walking through Seaside’s Central Square during the 25th annual Seeing Red Wine Festival. The four days of festivities included reserve wine tastings, special dinners, and a brunch with featured guest winemakers. Wine lovers gathered for the Grand Tasting Saturday Nov. 7 from 1- 4 to sample over 275 wines from vineyards around the world and light bites from local restaurants.

Tasters were given a swag bag with a master list of all wines presented, the official Seeing Red poster, and an etched wine glass with the event’s seal. Participating restaurants included 45 Central, Bijoux, V Seagrove, Bud & Alley's The Bay and more. Several of Seaside’s well-known restaurants showcased how their farm-to-fork and gulf-to-table offerings pair beautifully with the featured red wines.

Some of the sponsors included 45 Central Wine Bar, Seaside Merchants and Coastal Living Magazine, which had a tent with local author Paige Schnell signing her book, Tracery: The Art of Southern Design.  Seaside Merchants supplied a photo booth for guests to capture their wine tasting moment.

Celebrating its silver anniversary, the Seaside Seeing Red Wine Festival has grown to be a sell-out event, attracting wine connoisseurs and novices alike. The festival has been recognized as a “Top 10 Can’t-Miss Fall Wine Festival,” by Fodor’s Travel.
